"Jack London is King" - Alexander Supertramp

My 2014 road trip started off with a pilgrimage of sorts to Jack London sites in San Francisco, Oakland, and the Sonoma Valley

London wrote about Heinhold's First and Last Chance in John Barleycorn. Pretty cool that over 100 years later you can still get a drink in the same bar London frequented as a teenager!

Also outside is half of a Yukon cabin London stayed in during the winter of 1897/1898. The top half of the original is here, the bottom half in Dawson City. You can see the division in this picture. I hope to see the other half later on this trip

London lived in this house from 1898 to 1900. This is where he was living when he first started getting paid for his stories. You can imagine this house as the setting for the struggling writer parts of Martin Eden

From the Bay Area to The Valley of the Moon. I paid another visit to Jack London's Beauty Ranch, Jack London State Historic Park in the Sonoma Valley.
