Jack London in the Yukon
For some reason the Yukon is much more enamored with Robert Service than Jack London. Up here like most places these days he's just the guy who wrote Call of the Wild and White Fang. I did get to see the other half of his cabin though.
Klondike gold
The site of the claim that started the Klondike Gold Rush
Mining in this area quickly evolved from small scale placer mining to large commercial operations using these huge dredges to chew up the ground and recover the gold.
This place was obviously incredibly rich with gold
Fort Selkirk
Fort Selkirk is a place that you can only get to by river or air. It is a pre Klondike Gold Rush settlement who's history goes back to Hudson's Bay Company fur trading days

Whitehorse
S.S. Klondyke NHS
Lucas and Flor who are traveling from Patagonia to Alaska in an old limo.
They helped make a week of waiting in Whitehorse a lot more enjoyable.
