I visited the site earlier, but this time I went back up for the actual pilgrimage.
This is the most famous part, the blessing of the lake.
Most surprising to me was that the pilgrimage was almost entirely First Nations. I had imagined that the pilgrimage was something rich white Catholics from Edmonton did, but no, this is real Native Catholic tradition.
